A 7-part speaker series covering topics both informative and fascinating. Days are definitive; specific speaker time slots will be updated as confirmed.
Make it to one, two, or all seven — the package includes however many you can attend plus a reception after each with light snacks, a glass of wine and time with the speaker. Individual sessions will be offered closer to the dates.

February 15: Peter LaPorte, Executive Director, St. Mary’s County Historical Society “Beyond the Fireworks: How St. Mary’s County Helped Build America”


March 1: Angela Edwards, Poet, Author, History Buff and Storyteller Southern Maryland Author and Poet Angela Edwards will read from her debut book, “Little Italy Diary,” whose characters were informed by her father’s life in New York City’s famed Little Italy neighborhood. And she’ll share excerpts from her poetry collection, “Tribute,” pondering her life in Southern Maryland.
